Jehan grew up as a competitive martial artist and began her career as a fitness professional and performance artist at UC Santa Barbara in 2004. She dove deep into the study of human movement and made it her life mission to continue learning, and to share her knowledge about how fascinating the body is - in all its different shapes, abilities, and stages of life. Jehan is a firm believer that the more we learn about our unique bodies, the more we appreciate ourselves and understand others. The circus is the perfect place to accomplish that!

Jehan brought her expertise in the science and art of human performance together when she began training circus arts in 2011; since then has traveled the world as an inspirational teacher, performer, competitor and coach. She opened The Stage in 2016 to create a welcoming space for people to experience the joyous challenge of pole and circus arts, and build a supportive community of performance athletes.

Her notable accomplishments include:

  • TEDx Speaker (2019) "Why Every Town Needs a Stage"

  • Assistant Director - Rise the Night 2020 (the biggest pole dance show in the world)

  • Lead Presenter: Vertical Art Athletics (dance-science education for Pole & Aerial Athletes)

  • Coach: Pole Theater EGYPT (2019) - The first pole dance competition in the Middle East

  • Gold Medalist - Pacific Pole Championship (2018 & 2022)

Jehan specializes in pole & aerial performance coaching, injury prevention and rehabilitation, and developing sustainable fitness programs for people with chronic pain or medical conditions. She teaches pole dancing, lyra, aerial yoga, aerial fabrics, and educational courses for fitness professionals. She has a talent for teaching in a way that makes movement understandable and achievable, and helps her students to foster an appreciation for their body's abilities. She is passionate, encouraging, knowledgeable, and committed to spreading empowerment through movement arts.
